1. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The International Society of Bonding Psychotherapy’s conference 2024, “ A Walk from Trauma to Thriving and Joy”, will take place September 12-14, 2024, in Portorož, Slovenia EU (https://maps.app.goo.gl/smksQZYhicA7QScJA), and will provide a forum to explore three main topics:
Understanding Trauma: Research from Psychological, Neurological, or Biological Perspectives
Therapeutic Approaches: Exploring Emotional and Body Oriented Therapies for Trauma
Thriving Beyond Trauma: Cultivating a Joyful Life After Trauma 

Conference working language: English.

2. IMPORTANT DATES

• Abstract Deadline: March 1sth, 2024
• Notification of Decision regarding Abstracts : March 30th, 2024
• Early Bird Registration Conference Fee Deadline: March 1sth, 2024
• Conference Dates: September 12th - 14th, 2024

3. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The conference welcomes 300-word abstracts for presentations on different topics and formats.

Abstract submission closes on March 1sth, 2024.

4. VENUE

The conference will be hosted in Life Class hotel, Obala 33, 6320 Portorož, Slovenia, EU.

5. REGISTRATION

Conference fee that includes conference, welcome reception, and coffee breaks (possible only for all days: September, 12-14, 2024):

- Paid until March 1st 2024: 100,00 EUR
- Paid after March 1st 2024: 150,00 EUR

Additional costs optional:
- Gala dinner (without drinks), 9/13/2024: 50,00 EUR

6. PAYMENT

C onference fee (and gala dinner optional) should be made by bank transfer to:
International Society of Bonding Psychotherapy (ISBP e.V.).

A copy of the transfer receipt must be attached to the registration form.

The number of conference participants is limited to 80 people. We suggest that you check the available places before paying the registration fee.

Shuttle service:
The easiest way to travel to Portorož from the airports above is to take a shuttle service like GoOpti transport. Reservation for transfer can be made directly to your hotel. Prices are lower if the shuttle is booked well in advance (1-2 months). 

Bus or train:
Travel by bus to Portorož is possible but can be challenging. Once in Portorož, public transportation is available to move around the city. 

You can travel by train from most European countries via connection to Koper (Slovenia), Trieste (Italy) or Ljubljana (Slovenia). From these locations, you need a bus transfer or other transport to reach Portorož.
